Teijin Unveils New Website Featuring Improved Usability

Tokyo, Japan --- Teijin Limited announced today that it has completed the renewal of its website (https://www.teijin.com), effective on 18 March. The Chinese website will be renewed by this June.

Besides offering a more usable website for customers, investors and other frequent visitors, including by making it easier and more convenient to browse the site at anytime and anywhere with smartphones and tablets, the renewed website also introduces upgraded security features in response to increasing threats from global cyberattacks and other risks. To gain the correct and deep understanding for Teijin group, providing information that the users require efficiently by constructing safety and accessible website along with the social and environmental change.


Some of the many improvements introduced with the renewal include the following:

- Search ability has been strengthened to enable users also to find products and services by type of application, such as "automobiles" or "aircraft," or physical properties, such as "lightweight" or "heat resistance". Improved searches are expected to help users access information faster and more accurately.

- Existing responsive web design and updated layout of icons are user-friendly to deal with shifting to the mobile environment with the progress of information technology.

- Greater clarification of Teijin's contributions to the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including with icons to identify products that are helping to achieve one or more of these 17 goals.
