Value Creation Model

Since its founding, the Teijin Group has repeatedly embraced transformation and challenges, guided by the pioneering spirit it has inherited. In 2024, we adopted a new purpose, "Pioneering solutions together for a healthy planet." Centered on this purpose, we prioritize three values as we work toward realizing our long-term vision: "To be a company that supports the society of the future." By leveraging the four types of management capital we have cultivated--human capital, manufacturing capital, social and relationship capital, and intellectual capital--we will deploy a customer-centric business model that delivers value and services tailored to meet customer challenges, while contributing to the resolution of social issues. This will be achieved through initiatives such as creating innovation through Kumiawase (combining technologies and human resources) and providing solutions through Suriawase (understanding and addressing customer needs). Going forward, we will deploy our business primarily in three core markets: Mobility, Infrastructure & Industrial, and Healthcare. By contributing to the resolution of social issues, we aim to realize a "Healthy Planet" and enhance our corporate value by strengthening the Teijin Group's own financial foundation and management capital.

The Teijin Group conducts annual customer satisfaction surveys in specific business units. We remain committed to sincerely addressing the concerns of our customers and patients, while continuously enhancing our ability to propose solutions that meet increasingly sophisticated needs.
