Tokyo, Japan, January 15, 2015 --- Teijin Frontier Co., Ltd., the Teijin Group’s fiber products converting company, announced today that it will participate in Outdoor Retailer Winter Market 2015, a leading international sports trade fair to be held at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City, U.S.A. from January 21 to 24.
Teijin Frontier’s booth (stand: MR150C) will showcase products that meet increasing demands for high-performance sportswear offering comfort, daily-use wear and a combination of function and fashion.
The exhibit will also feature Teijin Frontier’s pursuit of a more comfortable and prosperous future through environmentally friendly solutions that conserve fossil resources and reduce CO2 emissions.
The exhibit will include:
・ High-tenacity polyester that boasts 1.5 times greater tensile strength than conventional polyester to provide athletes with greater comfort and body support for peak performance.
・ Polyester fiber with a highly deformed cross-section for enhanced perspiration absorption, fast drying properties, light weight, heat insulation and bulkiness.
・ DELTAPEAK next-generation fabric that integrates physicality, functionality and quality to a high degree. In addition to softness, durability and elasticity, it offers ultraviolet protection and anti-transparency, as well as snag resistance due to its dense, flat-knit surface.
・ Lightweight, durable, cushiony and breathable ELASTY, an excellent substitute material for urethane in a range of cushioning applications, such as bra cups, supporters and pads. It can also be combined with ECOPET recycled polyester fiber as an environmentally friendly insulation material for clothing.
Also to be showcased is SOLOTEX polytrimethylene terephthalate fiber, which is highly soft, stretchable, shape-retaining and durable. SOLOTEX is partially bio-derived, so it also helps to conserve fossil resources.
